my new OBSESSION

So I've found something new to obsess over, and it's called a vertical garden. I found it while reading one of my favorite blogs, Apartment Therapy. So now, I won't rest until I have my framed "living art" on my patio. So amazing!

New York is holding it's semi-annual New York Fashion week (February 11-18) right now. I've been browsing the amazing collections online and it's been so much fun, just wish the pictures would load faster. Anyways, the designers have created such beautiful collections, I thought I'd share a few photos. Too bad none of them were taken by me personally :(

Chris Botti Melts My Heart

My Mother-in-law and I went to a Valentine's concert Thursday night to see Chris Botti and the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. It was one of the best concert's I've ever been to. Chris Botti is an amazing trumpet player, and he played so many beautiful songs. I love classical and jazz music already, but seeing the orchestra and Chris Botti and his band perform live was such a wonderful experience. I loved it! This video is from a performance he did last year in Boston. Sorry for the expressions of the girl, weird, but they both play so beautifully. Enjoy!

Tragic Loss

We lost a beautiful mind this week. Lee McQueen, founder of Alexander McQueen has passed away. His creativity and beautiful garments will be missed.

Park City 2009 Trip

This post is long overdue, and it's nothing too exciting but I definitely need to post SOMETHING. This was our Christmas vacation this past year. Ryan's family visits Park City every year before Christmas for a week long ski trip. It's such an awesome little town, but filled with SO much. My favorite part of the trip is just being on top of the mountain and seeing the beautiful snow covered scenery. It's breathtaking. The snow was great and we had a lot of beautiful sunny days for skiing, we even skied on Christmas, it was a really fun way to spend Christmas with your family. Just some pictures of the week. Showing off the children I don't have

I just wanted to share some halloween pictures of my nieces and nephews because i can't get over how cute they are! So this is Lanaea, she just turned two and had a birthday full of Care Bears and Wizard of Oz gifts. I can't get over how cute she is!

And here is the adorable little niece of mine with her family on Halloween, can you resist squeezing that little care bear?! She's all the way in Michigan and I want to fly there to kiss that cute little face of hers!

Adorable, i can't stand it!

This is Aubrey, she's just turned four and is the most expressive little girl I've ever met :) This picture was taken during a little photo shoot in my parents front yard, to show off the fall leaves.

This is Braeden and he's five and in kindergarten, he's the most unique, creative and hilarious little boy. He loves dressing up for Halloween and thinks about what he's going to be everyday of the year :)

This is Davis, he was just born in June and he's the happiest little ball of baby chubbiness.

I love these kids and I wish we lived close so I could hug and kiss them everyday! I just thought I'd show off my nieces and nephews because I don't have any kids of my own to show off :)
